The family with 2 young children had been looking on their own for a while and had missed out on 3 properties.
They had recently sold and were focussed on a 3 bedroom semi with potential and wanted to be in Vaucluse or Dover Heights.
They signed up with Cohen Handler about 2 and a half months ago.
Steven Langman from Cohen Handler heard that the property we bought was coming onto the market but the vendor was delaying the sale as they wanted to go to auction and we saw the property on a Monday and on Tuesday the property went live on the internet for auction.
We made an offer but the vendor still wanted to go to auction and but with persistence from Steven who organised a building and Pest inspection and a signed contract the property was bought a week into the campaign.
From the first meeting with Steven I liked him immediately. He is very charming and personable certainly, however I was impressed how he recalls the current and sold properties in the area with encyclopaedic recollection. We had been looking for a house for a while, we missed out on three and I felt like I knew the market so it was very reassuring that Steven knows it better. His passion for property is obvious and he will go above and beyond to exceed your expectations. I can quite simply say that his persistence and determination created the opportunity for us to buy prior to auction and his affable personality made the search with him enjoyable. I will miss him!
