Property journey: I found this to be particularly fulfilling as the client had been in the market for 5 months and had attempted to purchase several properties both prior and at auction and had failed on all occasions. The client engaged our services to negotiate on their behalf. They had found the ideal property but wanted to secure the property prior to auction however where not confident in doing so. After engaging Cohen Handler we were able to quickly identify the property’s value in the market, once due diligence was carried out and everything came back ok we acted quickly and managed to secure the property at a price which our client was extremely satisfied with.
We engaged Cohen Handler as our buying agent to negotiate on our behalf. Robert Gettens and Alex Goulding met with us and clearly explained the services they would be able t offer us.
We found a property we were interested in, and Alex Goulding from Cohen Handler was involved right from attending to the open house. Once we decided to make an offer, Alex was able to quickly organise getting the contract checked with a Solicitor, Co-ordination of Building and Pest inspections through to preparing the offer contract. The property was slated for Auction, but Alex Goulding was able to negotiate a price we were happy with prior to auction and lose the deal. We had support all the way through pre-settlement inspection and collecting the keys to our new home. At no point we were in nay kind of pressure and were able to carefully consider our decisions.
