Unearthing “hidden gems” was the game plan in June as we saw over 60% of Cohen Handler transactions completed via off-market channels. The majority of our buyers were split between empty-nesters, first home buyers and overseas investors.

During June we were flooded with general enquiries, however it was a lack of suitable stock on the market that was the biggest challenge. As a result Cohen Handler had to turn away a record number of enquiries as our associates were at capacity and stock levels were so low.

With the arrival of the new financial year and the colder weather we are expecting a decline of prospective buyers in the marketplace in July. In this edition of Recent Buys you will find a small selection of the properties that we bought in the month and the story behind their purchase.
