What is your role at Cohen Handler?
I am a buyer’s agent in the Eastern district – anything from Elizabeth Bay, Double Bay, Woollahra, through to Rose Bay and right up to Vaucluse.

How long have you been at Cohen Handler?
I started in June 2015

What is the best part of your job?
Liaising with the selling agents to provide the best possible outcome for our clients with minimal competition

What do you love most about working at Cohen Handler?
The culture within our team and seeing the faces of clients light up that I have managed to save a lot of money for. After their long, frustrating, arduous journey, knowing I got them their dream home at a fraction of what they would have paid had it gone through to auction warms my heart.

What do you enjoy doing on your day off?
In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing and socializing because it can become a bit non-stop here. I enjoy going to the beach, getting coffee and having lunch or dinner with some friends. I love socialising and meeting new people.

Why did you choose to become a buyer’s agent?
This is something that I discovered I’m very good at. I have been helping people buy property for almost 15 years now and I didn’t realise that it was an actual job. I had been assisting people to buy their first, second, third or fourth property. They saw what I had achieved from my own portfolio and they’d ask ‘how did you do it? Could you please show me!?’ Then I’d run them through the process, run them through the numbers, advise whether or not something was a good or bad buy and explain why. People like learning from others that have experience and can show exactly what they’ve done themselves. My own portfolio is physical proof that it can definitely be achieved and I’m always happy to help and watch others succeed also.

About Me:

What’s the first thing you do when you get out of bed in the morning?
Coffee – I love it.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and how could you use it?
To read people’s minds.

Who would play you in a movie of your life?
I’d like to believe that would either be George Clooney, Brad Pitt or Channing Tatum. However, that is wishful thinking haha.

Favourite musician?
I have plenty but Bon Jovi is a definite standout.

What’s the craziest/most daring thing you’ve done ever done?
I’ve lived a very full life so far – I’ve tried a lot so it’s hard to choose just one.

What is the worst gift you have received?
My generosity – it’s hurt me more times than anything else.

What is your favourite movie?
There’s a million as I love film, I can’t pick just one – The Bourne Series, Back to the Future Trilogy, Godfather etc. I have favourites in pretty much every genre.

Do you cook?
If I could honestly brag about a single thing in my life then it’d have to be that I actually am an amazing cook, I love cooking! I’m quite picky when it comes to food so I prefer spending hours in the kitchen just to make a dish to absolute perfection.

If you could share a meal with any 3 individual, living or dead, who would they be?
Probably Al Pacino, Sir Richard Branson or any of the Victoria’s Secret angels. Especially Alessandra Ambrosio!

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’ve actually travelled quite extensively and have been to most of the places that I’ve wanted to go but there are still a few I suppose. I’ve been travelling all over the world every year at least once or twice annually since 2005. Travel is the greatest adventure a person can do, it really opens your eyes to what’s really out there.

What is one thing could you not go a day without?
Coffee.

Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island?
Easy! Emily DiDonato, she doesn’t know it yet but I’m going to marry her one day haha. If all else fails, any of the Victoria’s Secret Angels haha.
