What Suburbs are set to shine in 2017?
In 2017 housing prices are likely to slow down even more than 2016. Whilst these prices are expected to grow modestly in 2017, over 15 suburbs are likely to see a boom and outperform the average price growth across the harbour city, according to new analysis.
Managing Director of Cohen Handler, Simon Cohen has given his predictions for 2017.
Cohen Handler buyer’s agency co-founder Simon Cohen said family homes on the lower north shore were still a “great investment” in the north, while anything near the new light rail should be a consideration in the east.
“The hottest property types in the east and inner-city areas are two or three-bedroom apartments, as there is an abundance of downsizers selling in 2016 but wanting to remain in the area,” Mr Cohen said.
